The screenshot above was a photo taken in an exhibition Zelda curated in Dubai. At the talk she told us that the owner of the studio didn’t want the walls to be damaged and told Zelda that she can’t stick or nail anything onto the walls. This is why the artwork is being held up by string. She also told us that after the first few days when the gallery opened, she was told that they were taking everything down and finished the exhibition as nobody in Dubai would go and see it as it’s no longer the opening.

The screenshot above is a photo of “The Photographic Dog Show” from Zelda’s website. At the talk she told us the exhibition was in a church and that after putting all the art up it all fell down and photo frames were smashed. She told us she went to Ikea and used Ikea frames to exhibit the work.
I found Zelda’s LinkedIn profile and Instagram page.
I found Zelda Cheatle's talk and presentation very interesting, she gave me an in-site on what it's like to be a curator. The information and knowledge she shared with us was very helpful as at some point we will all have our work up in a gallery or hold our own exhibition. When we have events at university to showcase our work all the information Zelda Cheatle has shared with us will make it seem a lot more professional.
